The Relationship Between Stalin and Mao Zedong

Stalin described Mao at various times as a caveman, a margarine Marxist, a radish. Stalin indicated his conviction that Mao wasn't a real communist. When Mao eventually came to Moscow in December 1949, Stalin initially dumped him in a dacha on the outskirts of Moscow for several days. And it's even said that the secret piece, the NKBD, had arranged to whisk Mao's stools away on a regular basis, so that they could analyze them.
