Karma yoga is a powerful tool for purifying the mind. It aims to convert our moral actions into further into selfless actions what is for the good of all. The first layer of impurity desires in the mind are lust and gold this desire for you know accumulation wealth and power and sensuous pleasure. Second level of impurity is the restlessness of the mind which can be cured by meditation. When the third and final level of impurities is ignorance or an error, that's where we end up.
