The God Who Pardones Iniquity
The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might. They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth. Those nations that didn't fear God in the worshipful way will fear him in the frightened way. This is a God unlike any other who pardons iniquity. What brings God joy forgiving his children? Balancing justice in mercy but honoring mercy as soon as justice is satisfied. No wonder he's so quick to shift from prosecution to defense. That's what defines him. Who's like that? Honestly. It's hard to think of like mere mortals that are that kind; this is no mortal. Micah
