Is Interrupting a Good Idea in Personal Debate?
Every disagreement in my view should start with some amount of agreement, and that's thin agreement about what you're actually talking about. And so being deliberate in that way, I think that really increases the chance of it, of the disagreement going right. What about learning how to interrupt? That's been one of my tools that I'm comfortable using as a debate moderator,. But in personal interaction, interruption can really, really be seen as aggressive and offensive.
