What Was Young Katrina Like?
Katrina: I don't think I realized until pretty late in life that like I could be one and that I wanted to be one. My Japanese grandmother, who was born in Japan during World War II didn't have a lot of opportunities for women. And then my grandfather grew up kind of as his cousins as siblings and was and he was raised by women. So when you have narratives like that going on in your mind and you think about like,. I'm going to start a company and people are like, that's crazy. As this other stuff has happened we've had some really amazing things come out of it.
