How to Engage Former CEOs in a CEO Transition?
If you're a CEO who was promoted from within, how should you think about engaging your former peers? I've seen cases where somebody is unhappy that they didn't become CO. And it ends up being unhappily kind of a divorce of sorts. So there needs to be a clearing conversation about really what you need as a CEO and whether or not this is a good fit for them.
