The Use of Zero in Ancient Greek Mathematics

The idea of zero would have been like a line with no length or a square with no area. In ancient egypt, we've seen hieroglyphs for zero without even representing the base or the level. But there were some uses for zero that did make sense, such as a counting. The most practical use of it would have been as a placeholder symbol in our numbers.
