The US Treasury Debt Spirale Is Not a Zombie Country Anymore
We're at three and a quarter percent fed funds overnight. The US two year, which is a good proxy for where the market will expect fed rates to go right now is almost four and a half percent. I don't care because the math does not support the US being able to sustain their deficit at anything above 3 and ahalf percent. Any rate rises that get us the four percent handles or close to five percent handles just accelerates the debt spiral so quickly.
