How Did You Become Interested in the Economy?
Gloria Borger grew up in Harlem, considered the capital of black america. She says she was inspired by a book that explained poverty inequality wasn't the fault of the poor. The colonies under under british imperialism are producing all kinds of wealth, but it's not staying with them and they're extracting it for their own benefit. "It takes no people power to bring our community out of poverty," she says.
