How Did You Cope With Being a Creative Person?

i know a lot of people who who are creative and want to make their living from what they make, struggle with having to do the responsible thing. My breaking point was actually about to lose everything when my safety, what i thought that i'd, you know, i was living a safe life. I didn't have a i even if i was in the profession, any of that could change at any moment. To be able to say, ok, you done all the right things, until circumstances hit.
