The Different Types of Conditional Marking in English
My, my conlang media has a whole complex of different markers that are all ultimately from the third person pronouns. It has two different topic markers, one very reduced one for basic topic sense situations and then just sit with an epathetic vowel as the marker for contrast of topics or other sorts of things like that. And then that has in turn been grammaticalized into a conditional subordinator. So you stick it after a verb, you sort of topical lies a verb, but basically, and that's been under, that's, that was sort of a way to do conditional marking, which is a thing otherwise as well.
