What Is the Role of the Poblador Movement in Chile?

In chile, there is a vein of historyc biography that is very concerned with these pearl migrants. They are referred to as pobla adorpes, which we can roughly translate as sort of urban poor. And the social movement that is bound up, or known as the sort of poblador movement, is a movement for housing. So my project is essentially trying to break down this analytic barrier that has separated the poblador from the worker in the historiography.
