The Thompson 26-Inch Refracting Telescope
The Thompson 26-inch Refracting Telescope is the 12th largest telescope in the world. It works with two lenses, back to back and weighs about 160 kilograms of lens. The light comes in from the distance and it comes in and hits the lens and then it refracts or bends or changes direction. When it was up here, it actually worked with the Isaac Newton telescope and they were looking at quasars.
