History Isn't Destiny

Tina Fey: I want to touch on that history is not destiny. It means we don't have to do what our parents did, or what other kinds of relationships we've been in. But it also means it's never too late. Our attachment patterns are based on repeated experiences. When we begin to change the kinds of experiences people have in relationship with us, their attachment patterns start to change as well. So i think too, it's just, it's so exciting to think about how a as we begin tochange, the brain changes, right? We're really making a difference.
