Derrida's Ontology of Abundance
Derrida and the French poststructuralist philosophers with whom he is usually a line are interested in the way that even what seems to be present to us still has absence inscribed within it. No matter how close I am to another person, there is still a trace of their absence, which makes them always already a ghost to us. And so human interactions give me this sense that there's always more to the person than I can access.
