You don't need to e an outspoken, assertive, confident, daring, bold extravert In order to be able to advocate for yourself. One of the biggest ways is by forcing your employers to teach you skills that will boost your profile and improve your chances of promotion. Another way it's very simply asking those people that are in charge, your managers, your hire ups what priorities are.
