Power of Attorney and Health Care Directive
The power of attorney is a document that governs who gets to make decisions about your property and your person while you are alive. As soon as you die, the power of attorney document dies with you. So we look to your will for guidance. In most provinces, you can have a power of attorney that covers property in person. And when i say property, i mean bank accounts, houses, land finances, those kinds of things. Each province is a little bit different.
