Dr. Kelly is a science writer and Adjunct Research Associate at LaTrobe University, specializing in the study of memory methods used by oral cultures, particularly indigenous societies. She is a mnemonist and uses indigenous memory technologies to commit large amounts of information to memory. She has authored several books, including "The Memory Craft," "The Memory Code," "Song Lines" and "Knowledge and Power in Prehistoric Societies." She has a diverse background in engineering, physics, mathematics, information technology, and gifted education.
