After a year and a half, two years on a strict carnivore diet of just meat, organs and fat was that long term ketosis didn't work well for me. And so I added back in carbohydrates, fruit first, honey and then fruit. For most humans, having carbohydrates in your diet year round is a beneficial thing because we see improvements in hormones connected with this abundance. Some people are eating 20 grams of sodium chloride or sea salt every day to manage their electrolyte imbalance. That's an abnormality that can only be remedied with massive amounts of herculean effort.
