The Human Intellect

Intellect is the thing through which we think abstract thoughts. For aristotle, unlike our other bodily functions, the intellect has an eternal aspect in it. So every time you or i are engaged in an intellectual activity, we are actually a partaking in the activity of this one common intellect. This came to be known as the unicity thysis, or the single intellect thesis. Delmerigo's book is basically an attempt to deend this thesis.
