The Distribution of Stages
In the literature, you can speak of someone being at a stage and it is the sit stage at the highest level that they can perform at. But based on everything we're talking about, that seems to be a rather poor way of thinking about the stage someone is at because of scaffolding. So I'm tempted to see it more as a distribution, right? Like think about where you're at most of the time,. And then you can get a kind of distribution and that distribution will cluster maybe around a couple of stages.
