I think some part of it is recording. With ever note, it's one of the main things that people always bring up in conjunction with data hoarding. But I mean, especially in tech like things move so fast. Something that you did every day 10 years ago could be obsolete now and you'd be laughed at if you were still doing that. So you really need to have your not just what you've done or what you've learned, but what you think about what you've been through.

Nicole van der Hoeven is a YouTuber, developer advocate for k6, and Dungeons and Dragons lover. For the last five months, she has organized her life inside of task and knowledge management app Obsidian. We discuss how she uses Obsidian for her YouTube creation, Dungeons and Dragons playing, friendships, and consulting. We talk about how many second-brainers overcomplicate their systems. All it is is taking notes.
