Social Media Is a Medium That Pulls Us All Into the Mushy Middle

I thought the invention of internet would lead to us all seeing each other's point of view, it hasn't turned out that way. It does alarm me the degree to which we have fragmented into these filter bubbles and echo chambers. In social media, you build your own channel. The level of a filter bubble that you can go into is much deeper and much more tuned to the individual than previous filterbub. When i read that section in the book, i put it down. By the way, the thing i love about your book is every third page, i had to put it down and think about it, which to me was the mark of a good book....
