The Constraints of Group Ideation
Group ideation can still be done in a group setting, so long as there are some constraints or a challenge to work with those principles. The first thing I would do very, very clearly is define the constraints around the problem. Because it doesn't make sense to generate ideas that violate the constraints. It's going to force people to be more creative when they work in constrained environments than when they worked in unconstrained environments.
