Is There a Cure for Cancer?
i wonder whether a better model might be something like curing cancer. If we were able to generate machines which appear to have all the characteristics of consciousness, i think we could say that we'd explained consciousness. I'm very sympathetic to thethe b, the biologism that i hear around the with the speakers here. Rather than when a i doesn't try to understand human thought, a i tries to solve problems that would require intelligence if done by human beings.
