LZ Granderson: I just think sometimes they expect that we will interpret it a certain way in a very narrow minded way. When principles are taught in a way that is vague and people are able to apply them according to their experience, what feels right to them, generally you don't go wrong. But the more prescriptive it gets, which oftentimes it does get prescriptive, the more we get into trouble. LZ: We always scapegoat the institution and the church and the leadership because I don't think that's correct either.
