Emily Barrett is managing editor of Australia's leading independent newspaper, The Saturday Paper. She says the slaughter certainly hasn't finished as I say the deaths go on. But this is all happening now under a new president Ferdinand Marcos Jr who's the son of the former dictator of the country by the same name. He promised a more compassionate approach, one that focused more on rehabilitation. And he called it a more holistic approach with less death and more healing.
