The McLaren Pace Is a Beautiful Surprise

This was a stunning improvement from McLaren. This is one of the biggest in season leaps I have ever seen considering how completely lost they had been this year. No one, no one handed them anything. They kept saying to Lando Norris, how far do you think you can carry on this pace? Can you push now? And he's like, well, I am, I am pushing as hard as I can. The red bull ahead wasn't having to push. If this was a high deck track, would that pace have disappeared? Would they have managed to maintain the race pace? But in these conditions, they were incredible. Yes, it was absolutely genuine.
