The Importance of Treating the Body

Researchers from Orhus University in Denmark wanted to answer the question of how mental illness can be treated. They found that a number of mental illnesses, like anxiety and depression, might be associated with negative motor function changes. Psychomotor retardation is when your body and speech get slower. It makes sense that the body would be affected, just like the mind when it comes to mental illness.
