The Only Person Who Has Skin in the Game Is the Criminal Defendant
The only person who has skin in the game is the criminal defendant. Even if you've got a good case, you are really rolled in the dice. It's totally impossible for any system to ever function and certainly produce what people imagine to be justice. When a system is structured like that, it can't ever work. And for people to be told all the time we have the most brilliant system, and the justice dthall, it's all lies.
