Some have criticised sommer for being reheated blarism. Others praise him for taking so of some of the best aspects of new labour sort of leadership. Do you think this is an echo of new labor, or do you think he's proposing something new? I think kistame is definitely trying to be his own leader. He is not, i think, simply reproducing the new labor play book of the nineties. Nor could he, because obviously events are very different.
