The fear is that if you approach the bible in a different way, then we're al going to come to our own conclusions as to what is actually right and wrong. That has been happening in the history of judaism and christianity all along. And so for me, it points all way back to whatever moral or ethical guidance the bible is giving. It's not a systematic statement of that as such. If it was, it would be more clear to a lot more people throughout the last, you know, thumillennia.
