Is a Lazer Really a Good Idea?

In 19 64, gold finger said that a lazer could. project a spot of light from out in space down to earth. But i think if you're going to build a volcano base and then put nuclear weapons inside of itis, not really the best system. No health and safety doesn't seem to preoccupy er. Er, certainly a blofeld uses a diamond lazer, because, obviously diamonds are great, and they have extraordinary properties.
