Think about the amount of time that a professional American football player spends on their feet doing what we would call endurance type or cardio type training. Most folks in the context of a feasible real world concurrent training program really are not doing enough cardio to meaningfully attenuate their resistance training gains, especially when it comes to strength and hypertrophy. If you participate in a sport where power is the top priority, then I think it does make sense to take a closer look at what you're doing for cardio.
