Joaquin Castro: Border crossings have gone down 70% in the last few months since Title 42 was lifted on May 11th. He says Republicans are taking barbaric actions in their treatment of asylum seekers, including putting out 'death traps and drowning devices' The congressman supports President Obama's policy to let people apply for asylum from home countries before they make the dangerous trek to the U.S.-Mexico border. But he disagrees with his fellow Democratic Congressman Henry Koldier who stands by the controversial policy.
