I love the balance of novelty and nostalgia that's so important. John Mayer has a song called that he talks about slow dancing in a burning room, which is such an interesting thing that we get it. I can have a different meaning for that than someone else or depending on where I am in my life. There's a lot of meaning hidden in these metaphors and visuals too and stories,. So metaphors transfer a lot of knowledge and associations when you're exposed to them. And they're these incredibly rich concepts, which is why they have a pretty potent ability to influence us.
