Is Rapamisin an Imminosuppressive Drug?
The data suggesting that rapamisin can act as an imminosup present is almost exclusively based on very high doses, higher doses than were tested in the novarti study. So it's really not clear to what extent rape mice and as a mono therapy in healthy people has insuppressive properties. It seems to be the case for some forms of amun challenge, at high doses,Rapamisin can enhance susceptibility to infection. For other forms of amu challenge, it enhances function. But again, those studies are almost always done at very high doses of the drug that are even much higher than you would give to a person.
