Are There Any Ways to Address Inequalities in Cities?
The two things that drive people away from cities are fear of crime, urban flight and lack of jobs. As long as there are jobs in the centre, people will come to the centre. Public transport can be a major benefit if councils encourage people off public transport. The government has already said it's looking at electric scooters but again, what has to be realistic about this? Most people will stumble back to the lives they had before with relatively few exceptions.
