The ultimate science fiction invention that people are always snarking about how we don't have is jetpacks. It's not even like a car where you could maybe share it with one or two or the other people. So why do we have this fantasy of this jetpack but not of a superboss or a like awesome train or? Yeah, it's a really good question. People are like, where's my flying car? And in fact, whenever people talk about the future of transit in cities, there's always like, oh, but we'll have flying cars.
