Silicon Valley Bank was shut down on Friday by the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation. It basically ran out of money, you know, and in financial terms, this is called inadequate liquidity and insolvency. The article did not say what the initial vector was that delivers the attack. So I'm presuming it's phishing.
