The Battle of Baselon
Colfin Corner was scene of largest Japanese attack in Guadalcanal campaign. US Army had actually arrived and they only reserved the head for the whole campaign. The main assault happened the next night, but Baselon wasn't involved in that. He says he could hear the volume of fire increase with those grants.
