Lenin and Martov's Exile

Lenin's three year sentence finally ended at the end of january 19 hundred. The two comrades, who had hardly spent more than a few days under the same roof together, now rejoined one another and made plans to refound the russian social democratic labor on a firm united footing. They were no longer able to see eye to eye on fundamental questions. Their unification was impossible. And henceforth they would be rivals for the hearts and minds of the radical intelligencia.
