How Richard Burton Killed Negroes Like Monkeys

In 1876, explorer Richard Burton wrote a letter to the Consul of Zanzibar complaining that Henry Morton Stanley shoots Negroes as if they were monkeys. In his periodic dispatches from the Congo, Stanley had bragged about the quote, 14 dead and wounded with ball and buckshot. So it was what he writes in one of his like public documents is we killed 14 of them because they stole some ores.
