Kate McKinnon plays Kate McKinnon's Barbie, which is the weird Barbie who's been all overplayed with and all fucked up. The idea is that a broken Barbie doesn't belong in Barbie land. But then they basically have to win back Barbie land from the Ken's by turning their own emotions against them specifically their own jealousy and rage against them.
