Roma uses a spreadsheet to plan out her chapters and themes. Each chapter has got three parts, each part is a story. I don't want my readers to be reading tons of technical stuff in one book. The most surprising discovery for me was the people behind engineering. There are just kind of endless human stories behind engineering.
