The Risk of Iron Overload in a Patient With a Chronic Hemolytic Anemia
The risk of iron overload in a patient with a chronic hemolytic anemia who is iron deficient is zero. With the initial infusion of iron, but that patient needs to be monitored like anybody getting regular IV iron. Mike: Is there a hierarchy of IV irons that they should be looking for if they have a choice between some? I think so.
