After the first silent 10 day course, I felt like I felt lighter. And if I just keep going, I'm not only going to feel lighter, but I'm going to develop these qualities of being aware of myself and compassionate towards myself and others. That's what this technique is for. It's for purifying the mind. So that means that all that old stuff that's bundled up bundled up in your mind and you're subconscious is going to come up to the surface. But it wasn't like everything was perfect. There were still a lot of rough aspects of my character that I still needed to understand about myself.
