The Second Story
Outsiders challenge the constitutionality of a law that was enacted by the new york state legislature allowing the village to form its own public school district. The main motivation for that, obviously, was not to be able to have a public school where all or most of the children could go. A very different vision, says there's nothing wrong with groups separating themselves out, so long as they do so as a matter of private choice.
