The Nonplace

The nonplace is like, ah, the zones of ambiguity, the zone that that particular form of modernity produced. By design, it is a public utility and doesn't have a particular significance in terms of one's culture or activity. The nonplace has become a very good operational model for understanding what we're experiencing in modernity. Canada is the best nonplace nation in the world. We are literally what trudo called the post national country,. meaning that we don't have an identity from which we can dwell within our own space.
