The ideas in the abstract are obviously, i mean, they can be fascinating in some ways. But it's when they become applicable and relevant that you can see how powerful they actually are. On that note, how much did you know about these ideas when you were bringing up your four kids? I believe you had two sons. And a to what extent were you able to sort of instil good learning practice or habits in them when they were growing up and going to school? Well, i think what happened for me was i went to the defense language institute, i learned russian, and they had an outstanding programme.
